Throughout the year, the Y hosts special events for adults, kids, families and the community. Y events are a great opportunity to have fun and meet new people in a safe and friendly environment.

Violin Lessons

When: Tuesday’s October 1st-November 12th (7 classes)
Where: Carroll County Area YMCA
Ages: 6 and up
Fee: $119
Registration Deadline: October 1st
What: Join Mary Caroline Campbell with beginner level violin lessons. During this class, we will learn the basics and gradually increase the level over the session.

Halloween Canvas Painting

When: October 24th
Registration Deadline: October 21st
Time: 4:00-5:00 pm
Where: Carrollton Elementary School Cafeteria
Cost: YMCA Members: $20
Program Participants: $30
What: Join us for a holiday art extravaganza with Jeri! With a little help and direction, your kiddos will express their artistic side as they create a canvas masterpiece.

11th Annual Turkey Trot 5K

When: November 28th

Pre-Registration Deadline to receive prize: November 1st: $30
Registrations after November 1st (not guaranteed prize):  $40

Where: Race begins at the Carroll County Area YMCA

What: The YMCA will be hosting their 11th annual Turkey Trot 5k run on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th. The route will make its way through the town of Carrollton and help make room for an extra piece of turkey.
